ILLUSTRATOR

Gil Amado is originally from Guatemala, currently based in the Dominican Republic.  In his work, he highlights a clear inspiration in magical realism, looking to create with his work an analogy between infantile imagination and the rawness of adulthood.  From a very early age, he started to experiment with illustration and with stop-motion animation. 

Looking to connect with audiovisual realization he studied film in the International Film & Television School in Cuba (EICTV), where he specialized in editing, thus finding there a strong tool of expression.  Currently, with over 10 years of experience of working in film and design, he dedicates his time to writing, directing and editing in the film industry.
